Dr Leila Abbasova, Managing Director

Leila Abbasova started her career conducting research in Applied Mathematics with the focus on systems optimization.  She moved to Australia in the mid '90s, and held ICT management roles with major Australian companies, such as Electronic Data Systems (EDS Australia) and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ).

Leila worked with business and ICT stakeholders from different industry sectors, including Telecommunications, Utilities, Government, Financial Services and Insurance. Leila led ICT performance benchmarking initiatives,  developed IT road maps enabling new business positioning through technology innovations, and led transformation programmes enabling improvements in organizational performance through introduction of new processes, standards and methodologies.

Leila holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Russian Academy of Sciences.
